COMPACTION TEST in AZ – also known as Soil Compaction Test, Density Test, Soil Density Test or Percent Compaction. A compaction test will assess the level of compaction in the soil and compare to the maximum practical density (standard proctor). A compaction test is performed on site and the standard proctor is performed in the laboratory – the two tests are compared to provide the percent compaction.
